Mustafa
Sener is of Turkish Cypriot Nationality born in 1976, He
studied Law at The University of Istanbul, graduating in
2001. After graduating he stayed on in Turkey and
started to work for one of the leading law firms
in Istanbul. After working there for 1 year Mustafa
decided to return and continue his profession in his
home country of Northern Cyprus.
On his return he was offered to join the office of
Advocate and one time judge Gunesh Mentesh. Here Mustafa
gained invaluable experience first hand, and was given
the opportunity to take on cases which at the time were
followed closely by the local press. Verdicts achieved
contributed to his recognition within the Turkish law
circles and local community, and especially contributed
to his recognition as a good Criminal lawyer in North
Cyprus.
In March 2005 Mustafa opened his own law firm. He has
taken a different approach from his fellow colleagues by
opening his office a short distance from the local court
house in the city center. Anyone who has visited the
island will know that most if not all the law firms
in Kyrenia are situated around the area of the
Courthouse. For Mustafa it was important to provide easy
accessibility to his clients, such as private parking,
and not having to deal with the busy traffic of the city
center.
Since the emergence of the property market here in
Northern Cyprus our firm has acted on behalf of foreign
clientele in advising and guiding them with their
property purchase procedures. The team also offers
a service of following up where necessary in place of
the clientele who cannot at all times be in the country.
This requires the client to give a power of attorney to
the Advocate to act in their place in their
absence.
The team at Sener Law Firm
understands and realizes the importance of keeping
the client up to date with all legal developments
within the TRNC, and will often direct the clients
to site and literature where they can access
North Cyprus Laws relative to their interests in
the TRNC.
